PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Stirling engine equipped with a connecting structure in which a motor terminal of a linear motor and a power terminal connected to an outer power source can be electrically joined stably and with good working efficiency. SOLUTION: The power terminal 18 is provided penetrating a side wall of a cylindrical container 2, and its tip end 18a is bent toward the front edge of the cylindrical container 2. A first lead line 31 is connected to the motor terminal 20, and a bar-shaped socket 32 is provided on the tip of the first lead line 31. After the linear motor 6 is fixed to the cylindrical container 2, and before a lid body 3 is attached, the bar-shaped socket 32 is inserted from the front edge side into a gap between the cylindrical container 2 and the linear motor 6, and inserted into the tip 18a of the power terminal 18 to be connected thereto.
