PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for driving an anchor bolt and its driving device for driving the anchor bolt with high tensile strength so as to reduce displacement of tensile strength without requiring skill. SOLUTION: A screw part 21a of a taper bolt 21 is screw-fitted in a nut 40 so that an upper end face of a sleeve 22 is abutted on a bottom face of a first cover 32, and the anchor bolt 20 is set in the anchor bolt driving device 30. Then, the anchor bolt is inserted into an anchor bolt 20 drilled hole 9, and hydraulic fluid is supplied into a hydraulic cylinder 31. Consequently, pulling force in the axial direction is applied to the taper bolt 21 through the nut 40, the taper bolt 21 is pulled out, legs of a lip part 22b of the sleeve 22 are opened and expanded, and the lip part bites a concrete foundation 7 and is fixed.
