PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide tea allowing a purchaser to objectively know the taste components of original tea and thereby easily select tea fitting to her (his) own sense of taste so as to widen the selection range of the tea, and allowing the purchaser to recognize a kind, a producing district and a firm producer each of the original tea so as to enjoy the tea while confirming "safety" and "a sense of security" regarding the tea; and to provide a method for blending the tea. SOLUTION: The tea is so made as to display taste components of original tea via a numerical value data display means, and efficacy components of the original tea via a numerical value data display means. When the original tea comprises blended tea of a plurality of original teas, the purchaser can get information about the relation between the taste of the tea and taste components or its blending ratio so as to utilize the information for her (his) purchase to select tea more suitable for her (his) own sense of taste. When the numerical value data display means is provided via Internet web site, the data concerning the taste components is easy to be updated into the latest one and is extensively usable, and the purchaser can easily buy the most suitable tea for her (his) own sense of taste.
