PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to enclose a necessary gas at a prescribed pressure in a packaging bag without causing a decline in work efficiency, an increase in size and/or complication of an apparatus, or the like. SOLUTION: A packaging film 2 is sent out and traveled, and a vertical sealing part 14 is formed on a side of the film 2 while lateral sealing parts 18 extending laterally along the width of the film are formed intermittently on the film 2 with the formed vertical sealing part 14. Meanwhile, an article to be packaged and the pressure gas are supplied into the film with the vertical sealing part 14 to make the packaging bag in which both article and pressure gas are enclosed airtightly. In the above process, the dispersion of the supplied gas is restricted by a stopper member 15 as the lateral seal parts 18 are formed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
