PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce analysis time. SOLUTION: An obstacle detector generates diffusion codes for reference with delay time corresponding to the measurement distance of obstacles from a reference clock signal by a plurality of reference spectrum diffusion signal generating means 11a-11c, outputs a reference spectrum diffusion signal being diffused and modulated by the diffusion codes for reference, correlates the transmission spectrum diffusion signal received by a leakage transmission line 6 for reception and the reference spectrum diffusion signal by a plurality of correlating means 12a-12c corresponding to the reference spectrum diffusion signal generating means 11a-11c, outputs a correlation signal when the phases match, and detects that obstacles are present in a line by a detecting means 13 when the amount of variation in the signal level of the correlation signal to each delay time is equal to or more than a set value.
