ALDEHYDE COLLECTOR AND WOODY MATERIAL TREATMENT METHOD USING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aldehyde trapping agent having no problem in continuous production because having high penetration properties with respect to a woody panel and producing no blocking phenomenon and excellent in the collecting capacity of formaldehyde even after the surface grinding of the woody panel, and a woody material treatment method using it. SOLUTION: The aldehyde collector contains (a) a sulfurous compound or sulfite and (b) a surfactant as essential components or further contains (c) a solubilizing agent in addition to the components (a) and (b).
