PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a molded product thin, to reduce the wall thickness of the flange part of the molded product, to prevent the occurrence of a sink in the molded product and to enhance the handleability of the molded product. SOLUTION: This mold assembly has a first mold, a second mold and a separator 34 for allowing an edge part 45 to impinge against the flange part 71 of the molded product 70 with an advance to release the molded product 70. The parting line PL of the first and second molds is set so that the part adjacent to the fold-back part 75 formed to the flange part 71 is inclined at a predetermined angle with respect to an axial line. Since the part adjacent to the fold-back part 75 is inclined at the predetermined angle with respect to the axial line, a filled molding material can be prevented from penetrating in the parting line PL.
