PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a file which solves the problem of a conventional file that it is difficult to grind only a limited part of interest of an object to be ground without damaging other portions, a portion with a length of the file or longer cannot be ground as a handle of the file comes against the end of the object, and that a flat file requires a considerable skill to grind without damaging the portion other than the target with a corner of the file, can grind only the limited part of interest of the object to be ground, and does not damage the other portions. SOLUTION: The file is constituted by curving as shown in Figs. 1 and 2, and in addition chamfering as shown in Fig. 3.
