The transportation container includes notches which are respectively formed at the binding area (15) of the sidewalls (13a,13b) on a bottom wall (12) and at the vicinities of the slits (14). Each notch forms an insertion opening (18) for receiving the wall area of a corner component (16) which closes the slit. The slits are formed between the sidewalls.
