PURPOSE: A method of processing laver by spraying laver with an herbal extract such as a reed, wild grapes, Japanese privet, Lysimachiae Herba, Rubia akane Nakai, Catalpa ovata or the like is provided. The processed laver has medicinal action while maintaining characteristic taste and flavor of laver. Therefore, the laver can be used as a health food. CONSTITUTION: Laver is cut into a predetermined size, washed with water, placed on a rectangular laver net and then dehydrated. Then, an herbal extract is sprayed on the dehydrated laver, dried and separated from the laver net. The herbal extract is prepared by extracting medicinal herbs at 95 to 105deg.C, filtering and centrifuging at 4,000rpm. The medicinal herbs contain a reed, wild grapes, Japanese privet, Lysimachiae Herba, Rubia akane Nakai, Catalpa ovata, Camellia Japonica, Viscum coloratum, dandelion, barley leaves, Artemisia scoparia, Rubi Fructus or the like. |
