PURPOSE: A power apparatus for an electro luminescence light emission device is provided to easily realize the miniaturization and the multi-function by constructing the boost and frequency modulation circuits without using the low frequency transformer. CONSTITUTION: A power apparatus for an electro luminescence(EL) light emission device includes a direct current boost circuit, a frequency transformer and the EL driving circuit. The direct current boost circuit is provided with a boost coil(22), a rectifying circuit(23), a feedback sensor circuit(24) and a boost oscillation circuit(21). The boost coil(22) generates the counter electromotive force in response to the on/off of the switching device(Q). The rectifying circuit(23) rectifies the generated counter electromotive force as a direct current to output the rectified DC power. The feedback sensor circuit(24) measures the rectified DC power to output the measured DC power. And, the boost oscillation circuit(21) performs the on/off of the switching device(Q) and maintains the DC power constant by controlling the oscillation frequency in response to the feedback signal.
