PURPOSE: Provided is an antibacterial and antifungal composition containing fennel extract, polysine and grape fruit extract as active ingredient. The composition contains natural products and is thus harmless to the human body, as well as hardly affects the taste of foods. CONSTITUTION: The antibacterial and antifungal composition is characterized by containing 0.01-1 wt.% of fennel extract, 0.01-1 wt.% of polysine, 0.01-1 wt.% of grape fruit extract, 0.05-5 wt.% of glycerine fatty acid ester, 0.05-3 wt.% of organic acid, 5-90 wt.% of alcohol and 5-90 wt.% of purified water.
