摘要 PURPOSE: To provide a wastewater treatment method for obtaining high treatment efficiency irrespective of wastewater characteristics, preventing waste of carbon source by using glucose that is rarely volatile and removing phosphorus from sewage and wastewater by a simple and economical manner using bulk phase steelmaking slag without separate chemical treatment. CONSTITUTION: The wastewater treatment method comprises a step of performing denitrification reaction in which nitrate-nitrogen is reduced into nitrogen gas using microorganisms using glucose as a carbon source by flowing wastewater to be treated in an anoxic tank (1); a step of performing oxidation reaction in which organic matter contained in the first treated water is oxidized into nitrate-nitrogen using aerobic microorganisms by flowing first treated water passing through the anoxic tank in an aerobic tank (2); a step of settling sludge in the second treated water and sending a supernatant liquid to a slag reactor (6) by flowing second treated water in a settling chamber (4); and a step of removing phosphorus and suspended solids contained in the supernatant liquid using steelmaking slag by flowing a supernatant liquid flown over from the settling chamber in the slag reactor, wherein the wastewater treatment method further comprises a step of returning some of the second treated water passing through the aerobic tank to the anoxic tank through an inner return line (3), and wherein the wastewater treatment method further comprises a step of returning some of sludge in the settling chamber to the anoxic tank through a sludge return line (5).
