METHOD FOR DISPLAYING CALLER ID IN MOBILE TERMINAL, ENABLING ORIGINATING-SIDE TERMINAL TO SET COLOR FOR CALLER ID AND RECEIVING-SIDE TERMINAL TO DISPLAY THE CALLER ID IN THE SET COLOR

PURPOSE: A method for displaying a caller ID in a mobile terminal is provided to allow a caller terminal to set a color for a caller ID and a callee terminal to display the caller ID in the set color. CONSTITUTION: A caller terminal sets a color for displaying a caller ID when transmitting certain data(S10). When a phone number of a callee terminal and a call button are inputted, the data including the set color value for the phone number is transmitted(S20). A base station receives the data from the caller terminal and then transmits it to a callee terminal(S30). The callee terminal extracts the phone number of the caller terminal and the color value from the received data and displays the caller ID (phone number) in the extracted color(S40).
