<p>The invention relates generally to the field of removing scratches from glass, particularly from windows, and especially those of public service vehicles such as trains, trams, metro vehicles and buses and also from fixed structures such as bus stops. According to this invention, scratches are removed by etching or grinding, and a film is placed on the etched or ground glass to restore transparency, to protect the glass from further scratching, and to facilitate future repairs which may then be affected by the simple removal and replacement of the film. The invention would be equally applicable to the removal of scratches from other transparent media. <IMAGE></p> |
