SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MANAGING ASSOCIATION OF DEVICES WITH RESPECT TO PICONET, ENABLING THE DEVICES TO CONTINUOUSLY MAINTAIN THEIR LINKING TO THE PICONET

PURPOSE: A system and method for managing association of devices with respect to a piconet are provided to enable devices linked to a piconet to maintain their linking to the piconet even though they do not transmit a frame to a piconet adjuster for a long time. CONSTITUTION: When a piconet device linking adjuster(52) receives the second linking request command, from the first device, indicating that an ID, namely, a specific identifier of each device linked to a certain piconet, is normally allocated to the first device, the piconet device linking adjuster(52) sets a linking lapse time value of the first device as an initial value, registers the first device in a linking device list, and records the set linking lapse time value. A piconet device linking unit(51) updates the linking device list of the first device, and when communication between the first and second devices is requested, the piconet device linking unit(51) extracts a linking lapse time value of the second device from the updated linking device list. If the extracted linking lapse time value is smaller than a linking termination time value, the piconet device linking unit(51) allows the first and second devices to communication with each other.
