<p>A manually-operated circular saw machine (10) comprises a saw blade housing (12), fixed to a baseplate (16), which surrounds a rotating, driven saw blade (15) and which is provided with a waste extraction nozzle (13). A saw blade (15) passes through the baseplate (16), the circumference of which is surrounded by a suspended protective cover (24) and can be operated more securely and with improved extraction of waste, whereby said manually-operated circular saw machine (10) has no splitting wedge and the suspended protective cover (24) has at least one radial slot (40) on the circumference thereof.</p> |
