PURPOSE: A receiving apparatus and method using a post-descrambling method in a CDMA mobile communication system are provided to minimize overhead of fingers and hardware complexity by receiving a signal by using a post-descrambler. CONSTITUTION: The first finger to the Mth finger(1210,1220) of a finger part(1200) include the first and second antenna channel compensators(1211,1213,1221,1223), respectively, for receiving multi-path signals and compensating channels. Deskewers(1251,1261) of a coupling part(1250) receive the channel-compensated signals from the first and second antenna channel compensators(1211,1213,1221,1223) and time-align the signals in consideration of delay due to the multi-path. The first and second antenna chip couplers(1253,1263) of the coupling part(1250) receive signals outputted from the deskewers(1251,1261) and couple them according to a chip level. Descramblers(1255,1265) of the coupling part(1250) receive signals outputted from the first and second antenna chip couplers(1253,1263) and descramble them with a pre-set scrambling code.
