PURPOSE: A home automation system using a mobile terminal having a remote control function is provided to remotely control an operation of a specific home appliance through a mobile phone by downloading a control list and a control code of the appliance to the phone. CONSTITUTION: An HAC(Home Automation Center)(110) stores a control list of home appliances, control signal code values and control signal formats, and transfers them to a designated path. A wired/wireless communication network(120) interfaces certain data and relays it to a designated path. A client(130) is a browser mounted in a computer or a mobile terminal for performing communication. A mobile terminal(140) includes a home automation program and transmits a fixed line signal or a mobile signal for instructing an operation of a specific home appliance by executing the home automation program. An H G/W(Home GateWay)(150) receives various data applied through the wired/wireless communication network(120) and transmits them to a designated path or receives various data applied from an external source and applies them to the HAC(110) through the wired/wireless communication network(120). A counter(160) measures an energy usage amount of a receiver, stores it in an internal memory, and transmits a special ID of the receiver together with the measurement data. Power savers(170a,180a,190a) switch an ON/OFF operation of connected home appliances(170b,180b,190b). |
