<p>A method of altering a CAD 500 model comprising causing a processing means (112) to generate a reference model 502 roughly corresponding to a feature of the CAD model 500 then causing the processing means (102) to generate a control model 504 indicative of changes that should be made to the CAD model 500. The processing means (112) evaluates at least one point on the reference model 502 and evaluates for each point that has been evaluated on the reference model 502, a corresponding point on the control model 504. The results of the evaluation of the point from the reference model 502 and the evaluation of the point on the control model 504 are used to determine how a point on the CAD model 500 should be altered and to alter the point on the CAD model 500. This may result in reduced processing requirements compared to prior art methods.</p> |
