TRANSMITTING/RECEIVING TERMINAL FOR RECEIVING SATELLITE BROADCASTING SIGNAL WHILE CARRYING OUT SATELLITE COMMUNICATION

PURPOSE: A transmitting/receiving terminal is provided to distribute signals received through a transmitting/receiving antenna to a broadcasting receiver and a bothway communication unit and respectively process the signals by the broadcasting receiver and communication unit to receive a broadcasting signal while carrying out bothway communications. CONSTITUTION: A transmitting/receiving terminal includes a transmitting/receiving antenna(7), a branching filter(8), a distributor(10), a broadcasting receiver(11), and a bothway communication unit(12). The transmitting/receiving antenna transmits/receives signals to/from a satellite. The branching filter separates the signals transmitted/received through the antenna. The distributor distributes the signals from the branching filter. The broadcasting receiver expands the output signals of the distributor and reproduces images or sounds from the signals. The bothway communication unit converts the output signals of the distributor into low-frequency signals to reproduce a control signal and generates a response signal. The response signal is transmitted from the transmitting/receiving antenna to the satellite through the branching filter.
