PURPOSE: A generator for a vehicle is provided to improve the assembly by improving an assembly structure of a rear bracket and a front bracket. CONSTITUTION: A rear bracket(200) has a bearing(201). A front bracket(300) is opposite to the rear bracket(200) and a bearing(301). A heat sink plate(400) is assembled between the rear bracket(200) and the front bracket(300). A stator(500) is inserted between the rear bracket(200) and the front bracket(300). A rotational axis(100) is inserted into the bearings(201,301) of the rear bracket(200) and the front bracket(300) and a pulley(120) thereof is fixed on an end of the front of the front bracket(300). A rotor(600) is fixed on a middle of the rotational axis(100). A slip ring assembly(110) is fixed on the other middle of the rotational axis(100) to have the rotor(600) received a current. A slip ring guide(420) is assembled on an inner surface of the rear bracket(200) in order to protect the slip ring assembly(110). A brush assembly is fixed on the heat sink plate(400) and includes a pair of brushes. A rectifier assembly(410) is fixed on the heat sink plate(400) and electrically connected to the stator(500). A commutator is fixed on the heat sink plate(400) and controls the magnitude of AC(Alternating Current) voltage. A terminal(210) is inserted into a rear projecting unit of the heat sink plate(400) and directly connected thereto. A housing(710) is fixed on the rear of the rear bracket(200). A vacuum pump(700) includes a vane(720) mounted on the rear end of the rotational axis(100).
