PURPOSE: A treatment system of food waste is provided, in which odorous component contained in the odorous gas is removed by direct contact with the heating means in the deodorization device and energy required for the fermentation of food waste is supplied by the high temperature steam generated during fermentation. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises an agitator (20) consisting of an agitation box (20A) for agitating the food waste fed from a hopper (10); a housing (20B) installed beneath the agitation box (20A) filled with heat medium oil to heat the food waste; and a deodorization equipment for deodorizing the vapor generated from the heating process of the food waste, with a heater being installed for heating the heat medium oil; a spherical fermentation tank (30) surrounded by a hemispherical space part (S30B) at the bottom for heating and fermenting the food waste fed from the agitator (20) through feed line (C) by steam.
