PURPOSE: A portable terminal improving the portability by turning the reverse side or the back of the second member so as to face the front is provided to improve the operability and prevent damage of a display unit. CONSTITUTION: The first member(1) includes a keyboard operating part. The second member(2) has a display unit installed movably with the first member(1) in horizontal direction by interposing a holding member(3) movable with respect to the first member(1) in horizontal direction. The side or the reverse side of the second member(2) faces the front by rotatively installing the second member(2) with respect to the holding member in a state that the holding member is moved to the first member(1) in horizontal direction.
