PURPOSE: Provided are a filtering media for solid-liquid separation, which has fine air gaps and is able to prevent the air gaps from being clogged, and a filtering device therefor, which is able to reduce the replacement numbers of the filtering media. CONSTITUTION: The filtering media consists of elastic textiles having fine air gaps and elongated in one longitudinal direction or both longitudinal directions to allow the size of the air gaps to be extended. The device consists of a housing (15) having an inlet and an outlet (17), a strainer (14) consisting of filtering media to filter liquid flown in from the inlet, a transmitting means for sending the filter media to the outlet and a sucking device contact with the filtering media of the strainer to peel off solid matters adhered to the surface thereof, wherein the filtering media consists of elastic textiles able to be elongated in one longitudinal direction or both longitudinal directions and the sucking device has an inlet on the side contact with the filtering media to separate the solid matters from the filtering media when the sucking force is generated.
