The maintenance arrangement for traffic areas is connected to a tractor (100) and comprises a body formed from tube profiles and connecting components. It is particularly used for removing a frozen layer on a traffic area surface. It involves a granulating roller (42) fixed to the body transversally to the travel direction of the arrangement. The granulating plates have an inner plate with polygonal cross-section, in which is arranged a central part made of flexible material. The granulating roller axle runs through a hole in the central part. Also incorporated is a road scraper (50) which moves to one side of the tractor the frozen layer which has been loosened by the granulating roller. The arrangement can also include a crushed stone container from which material can be spread on the road surface to counteract slipperiness. The arrangement can be connected to lifting arms (102) on the tractor or can be towable, movable on its own wheels.
