Stable compositions comprising enzymes and pre-superpolyamide oligomers or pre-fiber-forming polyamide oligomers with only secondary amide linkages in the polymer chain backbone. Such oligomers may be a condensation product polymer of at least one dibasic acid and at least one amine. Particularly suitable acids include malonic acid, glutaric acid, maleic acid, fumaric acid and adipic acid.
