The device has a housing (12) disposed in vicinity to a floating line of a boat for receiving a flexible ladder (20) in a waiting position. The ladder has bars interposed between two mountings. The ladder immobilized in the housing has an extraction unit permitting to exercise traction on the ladder and ensuring the ladder extraction from the housing by a navigator.
