A method of attaching a metal frame to a no metal frame using adhesive comprising the steps of forming a spacing rib of a predetermined height around an outer periphery of an attachment area of the metal frame and the non-metal frame. An adhesive of appropriate flexibility to applied to one or both of the surfaces of the non metal and metal frames within an area bounded by the spacing rib and in a suitable amount so as to give a predetermined area and width when the two frames are held together. The two surfaces are brought together and held in position until the adhesive sets.
