PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction port body capable of surely sucking dust regardless of the forward movement and backward movement of a suction port body and wiping a surface to be cleaned and a vacuum cleaner provided with the suction port body. SOLUTION: For the suction port body 20, a suction opening 22A for sucking the dust is provided on the bottom surface of the suction port body 21. A wiping member 40 extended in left and right directions to be moved between the front and back of the suction opening 22A is provided on the bottom surface of the suction port body 21, and the wiping member 40 is moved to the back side of the suction opening 22A at the time of the forward movement of the suction port body 21 and moved to the front side of the suction opening 22A at the time of the backward movement of the suction port body 21.
