<p>A cold-shrink cable plug comprises a tubular-body(20), one end of which is at least connected to an elastic outter sleeve(l). A supporting tube(5), which can be fit with the radially expansed elastic outter sleeve,is arranged in the inner cavity of the free end of the elastic outter sleeve, and a drawstring (7), which facilatates pulling out the said elastic outter sleeve, is also arranged on the supporting tube(5). Since the outter sleeve of the cable plug is a type of cold-shrink , the supporting tube is disposed in the elastic sleeve when it is forced to radially extended , the supporting tube will not be pulled out until the cable fittings are inserted and well connected, , the outter sleeve resiles and forms a tight fit . The configuration of the invention facilitates the connection and has a better seal . Moreover because of the shrinkage of the outer sleeve, the cable plug of the invention can be fit with cable fittings with various outer diameter and can improve its applicability and generality.</p> |
