Process and assembly to secure loose textile yarn on bobbin by discharge of hotmelt glue to the thread surface on a rotating bobbin

In a textile process a bobbin is wound with yarn. When the bobbin is full, the yarn is cut leaving an upper surface and a loose end. The loose thread and outer surface are secured by a thin straight or zigzag line of hotmelt glue applied parallel to the bobbin axis. Also claimed is a glue discharge station with a reservoir (2) discharging via a funnel (5) and a rolling ball (6). The glue discharge unit traverses the width of the bobbin surface while the bobbin continues to rotate.
