<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a monolithic refractory having service life equal to that of chromium oxide-containing, for example, alumina-chromium oxide as the lining of the waste melting furnace in a chromium-free material containing no chromium oxide substantially. <P>SOLUTION: The chromium-free monolithic refractory for the waste melting furnace is obtained by blending 0.5-35 mass% tin dioxide, a refractory blend containing a refractory raw material and a binder and a dispersant and further blending 0.1-5 mass% glass frit to 100 mass% refractory blend in external addition. Or the chromium-free monolithic refractory for the waste melting furnace is obtained by blending 0.5-35 mass% tin dioxide, a refractory blend containing a refractory raw material and a binder and the dispersant and further blending 0.1-5 mass% metal boride to 100 mass% refractory blend in external addition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
