PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in a conventional moving picture editing method that an operator has to display each window and confirm processing contents and states between the windows every time each window is required because a person detection window in a function detecting the person appearing in the scene, a display window as a result of person detection, and an editing window are respectively displayed on a monitor only when each of the functions of the windows is processed. SOLUTION: The person detection window and the person detection result display window are always displayed on the monitor together with the editing window. Further, the processing of one window is reflected to other windows almost at the same time. Moreover, the processing of one window is also reflected on an M-icon of the editing window.
