PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve performance when table lookup is repeatedly needed. SOLUTION: This invention provides a computer program and a data processor instruction set with variable Mux instructions. Specifically, this invention reorders content of a pair of one or more table register(s) as function(s) of contents of a pair of one or more index register(s). As the result, the rearrayed data are stored in a pair of one or more result registers. When an index register is explicitly specified by the Mux instruction, identification information of the index register is specified as a parameter and when it is implicitly specified, identification information of an exclusive index register is originally equipped.
