PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a solid electrolytic capacitor which can further lower ESR characteristics. SOLUTION: A capacitor element formed by rolling anode foil and cathode foil by a separator is immersed in a mixed solution of a polymerizable monomer solution and an oxidant solution, and the solid electrolytic capacitor is manufactured by forming a solid electrolyte layer composed of a conductive layer polymer which is subjected to the polymerization of the polymerizable monomer on an anodic oxide film. The capacitor element is immersed in a polymeric liquid and then raised, and the polymerizable monomer is polymerized while applying a voltage to the capacitor element with the capacitor element raised.
