PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a setting method of a disk and a stamper, in which air bubble is prevented from intruding between the disk 10 and the stamper 11 and accurate bit transfer can be performed, in a pit transferring process of the optical disk in which the pit is transferred to the disk by pressing the disk 10 to the stamper 11. SOLUTION: An outer peripheral part of the stamper 11 is pressed down and warped by a first pressing means 6 in a state in which a center part of the stamper is placed on a set mount 1 and supported, after the center part of the disk 10 is pressed to the stamper 11 by a second pressing means 7 from above of the stamper 11 in this state and positions of the both are fixed, press-down of the outer peripheral part of the stamper 11 by the first pressing means 6 is released, warp of the stamper 11 is returned so as to be brought into contact with the disk 10.
