PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the accumulation of combustion residues in a fluidized bed and causing no fluidizing troubles by blowing air near straightening vanes. SOLUTION: In the fluidized bed combustion device, combustion air 16 is supplied from an air diffusing pipe 15 to form a the fluidized bed 8 for burning wastes supplied to the fluidized bed. The straightening vanes 9 are provided in an extraction portion which extracts a fluidized medium from the fluidized bed and purge air is blown to the upper parts of the straightening vanes 9 at certain intervals. In a system for high pressure purge air 11, an air chamber 13 and a control valve 12 are provided for securing a constant capacity of air and for purging the air in a constant cycle, respectively.
