PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wet sheet container which prevents the quality of wet sheets from being lowered. SOLUTION: The wet sheet container 1 comprises a container body 2, and a lid 3 to close the container body 2. The container body has a recess 23 formed downward from the top surface 21 of the container body, and an outlet 25 for taking out the wet sheets 150 is formed on the bottom 24 of the recess 23, on which an enclosing part 26 enclosing the outlet 25 is formed. The lid 3 is formed to close the outlet 25 of the container body 25, and has a counter part 32 countering to the enclosing part 26 on the back surface 31 of the lid 3. The counter part 32 has a circumferentially formed groove 33 open toward the enclosing part 26 which is formed to project upward circumferentially so as to fit into the groove 33 when the lid 3 closes the outlet 25.
