PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to change the size of a pusher easily in response to a change in the size of a packaging article. SOLUTION: An article transfer conveyor 10, which transfers the packaging articles A in the same direction at the same speed as cases K<SB>1</SB>are transferred, and a timing belt 24, which makes a carrier side belt 24a move slantly on the transfer passage of the transfer conveyor 10, are arranged at one side of a case transfer conveyor 1 for transferring the cases K<SB>1</SB>in one direction. The timing belt is provided with the pushers 26, which are arranged at every identical distance to push each article A onto the bottom panel P<SB>2</SB>of each case K<SB>1</SB>transferred by the case transfer conveyor 1. A pushing part of each pusher 26 is formed of a fixed pusher 26a and a movable pusher 26b. The movable pusher 26a is moved relatively to the fixed pusher 26a by a contraction/expansion adjusting mechanism to adjust the contraction/expansion of the pushing part of the pusher 26 in response to the size of each article A to eliminate a need for replacing the pusher 26.
