PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separation cap capable of easily performing separate collection and preventing mistakenly pulling a tab before using contents for the first time. SOLUTION: The separation cap comprises a cap body 1 having an inner cylinder 4 and an outer cylinder 6 to hold a mouth part of a container, an upper lid 30 to be screwed to the cap body, an annular wall 31 connected to a lower end of the upper lid via a bridge 39, a longitudinally weakened part 22 provided on the outer cylinder, a tab 17 provided on the outer cylinder and continuous to the longitudinally weakened part, a ratchet mechanism R comprising a ratchet claw 40 provided on the inner side of the annular wall and a ratchet tooth 24 provided on the cap body 1, and a circumferentially weakened line 13 provided on the outer cylinder and continuous to the tab.
