PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold for molding a plastic lens capable of solving the problems of a conventional mold which occur when casting polymerization is executed to a so-called plus lens for converging the incident light. SOLUTION: Notched faces 12, 22, which are separated from opposing molds for the molding gradually from the center side to the outer peripheral side, are provided to the entire internal peripheral edge opposing to either or both of the mold 1 for molding a plastic lens, which is for molding the convex, and the mold 2 for molding the plastic lens, which is for molding the concave.
