PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely and efficiently apply a protective layer forming material by a simple arrangement. SOLUTION: A roller mechanism part 34 supports a roller 48 attachably/detachably, and the roller 48 has a brush base 118a which is supported rotatably by the roller mechanism part 34 and a brush part 118b which is set on the peripheral surface of the brush base 118a and applies the protective layer forming material on the surface of a vehicle 14. In the brush base 118a, orifice parts 119 for making the material supplied in the inside penetrate into the brush part 118b are formed on the periphery of the brush base 118a to open spirally in the axial direction.
