PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which has the texture of a nonwoven fabric reducing the glossiness while always maintaining the dry touch by guiding a small amount of the mensural blood, sweat or the like left as intact on the surface of a mesh sheet without being absorbed into the hydrophilic fiber sheet. SOLUTION: In the absorbent article 1, an absorbent 4 is interposed between a porous resin surface sheet 3 and a liquid impermeable rear sheet 2 while the hydrophilic fiber sheet 6 is interposed on the undersurface side of the porous resin surface sheet 3. The fibers of the hydrophilic fiber sheet 6 are extended from the pores 7 and 7 of the porous resin surface sheet 3 to the top surface side of the unpored sheet part of the porous resin surface sheet 3. In this case, the fibers of the hydrophilic fiber sheet 6 are extended from the pores 7 and 7 of the porous resin surface sheet 3 at a rate of 1 to 60% with respect to the unpored sheet part of the surface sheet 3.
