A display/input device (CP2) which displays information on a display (DP) and changes and communicates information by switch operating means (CSW1), wherein the switch operating means (CSW1) are arranged on the left and right sides of the display (DP), the opaque members among the members of the switch operating means (CSW1) are arranged outside the display (DP) and only the transparent members are arranged over the display (DP). With this constitution, switch operation can be performed while viewing the functions of the switch operating means (CSW1), and the switch operating means (CSW1) can give a stroke feeling and a click feeling, so that the operation environment in which a good operatability is provided and secure input is realized can be provided.
