<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide microorganism group for efficiently producing acid in an acid producing process greatly involved in a methane producing process in order to perform efficient and stable methane fermentation in anaerobic treatment for sugar-based waste water. <P>SOLUTION: This microorganism group is used in acid production in the anaerobic treatment for sugar-based waste water. It contains Klebsiella pneumoniae and Streptococcus bovis as main microorganisms when pH is set to 6-8 under supply of a sugar-based liquid. Thus, sufficient organic acid is produced from organic matter in the waste water, and is led to the methane production process to further efficiently perform the treatment of the organic matter in the waste water. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
