<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost material for a wind instrument which has excellent workability, hardness and corrosion resistance, and has a high texture. <P>SOLUTION: The copper alloy for a wind instrument comprises, by weight, 18 to 48.5% silver, 1 to 8% palladium, and 0.5 to 3% indium, and the balance copper. Corrosion resistance and a texture which have been the demerits of a copper alloy are improved, and a wind instrument of high quality having high durability and a noble feeling can be produced at a low cost. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
