摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for hybrid four-wheel drive cars and a hybrid four-wheel drive car wherein degradation in accelerating capability during a speed change, degradation in the capability to escape from mud, and so on are prevented, driving force is ensured, and control in accordance with the driver's intention can be implemented. <P>SOLUTION: The controller is for hybrid four-wheel drive cars which are driven by driving force from an engine 1 and driving force from a motor. The controller comprises a clutch release sensor from a clutch position, and a processing device. The processing device operates as follows: it obtains the driver's intention to take off or change speed determined from a signal from a clutch release sensor in a clutch position, a non-neutral state signal based on a change gear ratio, and an accelerator depression signal related to an accelerator pedal. When the driver's intention to take off or change speed is determined, the controller computes a torque generation signal to be outputted to the motor on taking off or changing speed in correspondence with an accelerator depression amount signal. This solves the following problem associated with the hybrid four-wheel drive cars: there is the possibility that degradation in accelerating capability during speed change, degradation in the capability to escape from mud, or the like can be caused by torque disconnection due to the clutch being released upon changing the speed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
