<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color PDLC (Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal) display device which can prevent the deterioration in the characteristics of color PDLC films by imperfect phase separation and is improved in the quality of colors and a method for manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The color PDLC display device includes a lower substrate 1, an upper substrate 10 which is arranged on the lower substrate apart a prescribed interval therefrom, the color PDLC films 8a, 8b and 8c which are arranged between the lower substrate 1 and the upper substrate 10, and are formed by dropping and injecting a liquid crystal in a vacuum state into the droplets of red, green and blue porous films formed by foaming of polymer films respectively mixed with red, green and blue pigments, and transparent liquid crystal driving electrodes 2 and 11 which are respectively disposed between the lower substrate 1 and the upper substrate 10.
