PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the trouble due to vibration interference of a vibration wave motor and an image blur corrector without preventing the vibration transmission from the former to the latter. SOLUTION: The optical equipment is equipped with an optical system including a focusing optical system driven for the purpose of focusing and a correction optical system driven to correct the shake of the image on an image plane, the vibration wave motor 10 for driving the focusing optical system and an image blur detector 51 for detecting the information on the amount of the shake according to the vibration of the optical equipment by generating the vibration by itself and correction driving-gears 52 to 55 for driving the correction optical system based on the information on the amount of the shake. The above equipment is provided with a speed detector 45 for detecting the information on the driving speed of the vibration wave motor and a control means 61 for permitting/prohibiting the driving of the correction optical system by the correction driving-gears 52 to 55 based on the result of the detection of the speed detector 45.
